The Double Din GMK422 Package has been designed with high quality automotive grade ABS plastic to match the texture of your factory dash. This package includes the necessary wiring and or adapters for your installation. The wiring harness eliminates the need for cutting or modifying any of your OEM connections and can be easily reversed for reinstallation of your factory system at a later time if you decide to sell or trade your vehicle.

This may help maintain your vehicles value. Please verify your vehicle's original sound system specifications before purchasing your dash kit. Replace your vehicles factory stereo using this dash kit. The American International GMK422 has been designed with high quality automotive grade ABS plastic to match the texture of your factory dash. This dash kit fits the Industrys STANDARD sized Double DIN Radios ONLY. Off brand and Substandard radios may not fit.

CHECK the Manufacturers Specifications of the radio chassis and face size to assure fitment with this kit. Chassis Size: 180mm x 100mm (7.086" X 3.937"). Maximum Radio Face Size: 96.84mm x 173mm (3-13/16" X 6-13/16").

Radio Replacement Interface for General Motors Vehicles. The LCGM24 allows the replacement of a factory radio in select General Motors vehicles with Class II radios. Using this interface will retain factory features such as warning chimes and provides a data-bus generated 12-volt retained accessory power output (RAP). RAP keeps the radio powered after key-off, just like the factory system. The LCGM24 also issues data commands that maintain a "healthy" system status to other vehicle systems.

PLEASE NOTE: This Interface is intended for use in vehicles without OnStar® or PREMIUM Bose® (Y91) or when OnStar® or Bose® does not need to be retained. Wire your aftermarket radio to the LCGM24's harness according to the wiring connections chart. The red accessory wire will support up to 10 amps of current draw. Remove the factory radio and plug in the LCGM24's 24-pin harness into the factory vehicle harness.

Using the supplied length of wire, mount the interface within the dash of the vehicle with double sided tape or wire ties. There are no adjustments to make, just mount your aftermarket radio and re-install your factory dash panels and you're done! The LED on the interface will turn on & the +12v accessory wire will turn on.

Turn on the radio & check balance & fade. Turn off vehicle & remove key. RAP will be active & keep the radio on for 10 minutes or until the drivers door is opened.

The LED & radio will turn off when RAP turns off or the drivers door is opened. Antenna Adapter is used to connect your factory antenna to a standard aftermarket radio input.

This can be used in conjunction with a. Adapter (NOTE: We offer both adapters in a single kit) to add FM modulated devices where radio replacements are not available.

NOTE: We advise that you retain all factory screws or other fasteners when removing the factory system as these may be needed when installing your new aftermarket stereo. Depending upon vehicle configuration other fasteners may be required. This complete kit comes with everything to mount your aftermarket radio to your vehicle but does not include the radio.
