This was very easy to put together an install. Yes, I recommend this product.

For my application, I have to make some further modifications to clear my engine which is not your problem BUT the mounting plate is not a good fit to firewall so much be shaved...... But more importantly, the entire mounting of this big heavy safety -related thing is not different than for the OEM voltage regulator -- sheet metal screws! Surely this is not the best approach.
